In the beginning, all those spots were intimidating --
surely, they'd soon become tedious!

Instead, I am reminded of the Master Pianist whom I had the privilege
of watching as he meticulously practiced scales.

Tedious?

The man wore the most sublime smile I've ever seen
as he sat immersed in a world I could only watch.

I have entered that world. . . .
