Poetry by Sondra Kay Neiman

Spin into my mind: let's ride
        Abreast the sky.

        Kaleidoscope! Gyroscope! Warp! So fast!
The cosmic orgasm bursts in a torrent
        Of electric shock.
        Shhh. . .
Awash in warm tumbling impulses. A jacuzzi
        Flowing, growing, vining and twining
        Ever out.
And around, embracing Earth, embracing Sky.
Can you imagine someone asking why
        We do this?
Aware! Avoid the eyes of the basilisk.
        Listen to your belly button.
        Animate. We're free.
The harp plays on, we dance and drift.
        Reflect, project, weave a dream.
When the movie's over, turn on the light.

Thank you for sharing my journey, but . . .
        Are you in my dream?
        Or am I in yours?
